Global Running Day is a worldwide celebration of runners of all ages and abilities, with the aim of encouraging people to get moving and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.
At Forty Thieves, we believe quality, natural food is made for fuelling everyday and epic adventures. Whether it’s a morning run or a weekend adventure, we’re committed to crafting delicious nut butters that help power active lifestyles.
That’s why we were excited to partner with LSKD for this year’s Global Running Day event at Commercial Bay. Before sunrise, more than 300 runners gathered on Auckland’s waterfront for a 5km or 10km run through the city. Afterwards, everyone returned for breakfast, coffee and a panel discussion hosted by LSKD.
We helped keep runners fuelled with overnight oats from Oat Bros topped with Forty Thieves Nut Butters, alongside a tasting station featuring pikelets and fresh bread from Romeo Panetteria.
Long after the run had finished, people stayed to catch up with friends, enjoy breakfast and grab a photo at the LSKD x Forty Thieves photo wall. Events like this are a great reminder that running isn’t only about training or performance. It’s also about community.
