In April, Forty Thieves owners Brent and Shyr packed their bags (along with plenty of peanut butter!) and headed to Singapore for the Taste of New Zealand fair. Held in Great World City, one of Cold Storage’s premium supermarkets, the event was an opportunity to promote Forty Thieves’ award-winning nut butters to Singaporean shoppers.

Officially launched by New Zealand Trade Commissioner; Maggie Christie and Cold Storage Commercial Director; Ms Chua Lay Khim, Shyr and Brent felt very much at home when treated to a powerful Kapa Haka performance by students from the Australian International School. The fair was a great opportunity to strengthen their relationship with the Cold Storage’s category team, and to receive real-time feedback from curious shoppers, keen to learn more about the Forty Thieves story.

Forty Thieves is also proud to offer our products through RedMart, Lazada and Shopee – Singapore’s main online shopping channels. Singaporeans can also enjoy Forty Thieves Peanut Butter in cafes like Cocobella Lifebar. Here it’s served in their signature coconut yoghurt bowls. Seeing the product in action, and enjoying it for breakfast was a special moment!

Of course, there was plenty of adventure beyond business. From early morning runs around Gardens by the Bay to enjoying local cuisine and taking in the sights, it was a busy week that reminded Brent and Shyr just how exciting it is to take Forty Thieves global. This trip marks an important step in the Forty Thieves mission to fuel adventures around the world.
Shyr was recently interviewed by Supermarket News to share more details about their trip. Read more here.
