Forty Thieves x Trees That Count: Growing Our Native Forests

At Forty Thieves, we believe in the power of small, consistent actions. We’re excited to share the next step in our sustainability journey, a partnership with Trees That Count to support the restoration of our native forests. As part of our commitment to mitigate our carbon footprint and protect our backyard here in Aotearoa, we’ve begun funding native trees to ensure a more positive future for nature.

Our First Milestone: 124 Trees

To date, we’ve funded 124 native trees supporting the Love Our Waiheke Wetlands project in Auckland. While these pioneer plantings are just getting started, their long-term impact is significant:

Carbon Removal: These trees will help remove approximately 28 tonnes of COâ‚‚ from the atmosphere over the next 50 years.

Biodiversity: Beyond carbon, they help create healthier habitats for local wildlife and improve water quality.

On-the-Ground Action: Our support helps restoration projects across the country carry out the vital physical work needed for our ecosystems and communities.

Looking Ahead

Sustainability is a long-term commitment, and we’re just getting started. When you choose Forty Thieves, you’re helping us make a measurable difference for the planet and the generations to come.
