As the world’s largest food and drink accreditation scheme and widely recognised as a trusted mark of quality, Great Taste is known for its rigorous judging process. Products are blind tasted by a panel of over 500 chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers, offering honest, impartial feedback and celebrating only the very best. Having both flavours recognised with such highly regarded awards is an incredible honour. We’re proud to see Cinnamon Donut and Chocolate Fudge celebrated on the global stage!
🥄 Cinnamon Donut – 2 Stars
Judge’s comments: “Rich, with a nutty spicy aroma and glossy sheen, this peanut butter has a stickiness of the texture that allows all the flavours to come through. It is not too sweet and full of nutty goodness. The cinnamon is just right, and that richness lingers on the palate and feels luxurious. A high end, delicious product that will no doubt be fought over in the family.”
🍫 Chocolate Fudge – 1 Star
Judge’s comments: “This has a medium brown colour that reflects the colour of the nuts, mixed with the dark chocolate. It is nutty on the nose and the roasted nut flavour comes through with a creaminess from the chocolate. A good level of salt that means it not overly sweet and overall it is well balanced, with a distinctly peanut butter flavour, tempered by the dark chocolate.”
